How it compares on the fish & aquatic shelf

We track 50 rated fish & aquatic products, and the middle of that pack scores 4.6 out of 5. This one is on 3.7. Bottom quarter of the shelf. Not a red flag by itself, but similar money buys a better-rated option here, so the case for this one has to come from somewhere else.

356 people rated it, where the shelf median is 3,120. For this shelf that's thin. A handful of new reviews could shift it noticeably, so read the score as an early signal rather than a verdict.

The shelf runs from £2.11 to £29.98 and the midpoint is about £9.76. On price, this one is in the bottom third. Buying at the cheap end is fine as long as the rating stands up. Here it does not quite, so check what has been cut before assuming the saving is free.
